Wilma Heads for the Northeast
Wilma took her toll on both the west and east coasts of Florida over the weekend, and now heads northeast. Her affects on the Northeast can be found here.
It has been fun to follow the hurricane. This week, I was introduced to a couple of new people, and when told my name, they said, "Norma?"
My friend said, "No, Wilma, like the hurricane."
It's the first time in my life that I haven't heard, "No, Wilma, like Wilma Flintstone."
As Wilma, the hurricane, decreases in strength I guess I'll go back to being compared to a cartoon character. Maybe I should wear more animal prints and jewelry with large stones.
Hmmm.
There's a thought.
